ROBERT TRUAX

A graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Business, Robert Truax went to work in the interior design field as a project manager. During this time, he became acquainted with the late David Wenfield Wilson, a pioneer in residential lighting and his first mentor, who encouraged him to explore the nature of light – through trial and experimentation. Truax also studied under noted lighting designer and author Jan Moyer. Since founding his company in 1987, Truax has consistently worked on a number of high-profile projects and in the process formed the foundation to his company’s artful balance of creativity and function.
